Sherry Glasser takes on Mother Earth

 

 If you have never encountered Sherry Glasser and her personification of Mother Earth ("So, ah, how exactly do you think you got here without a Mother?") here's a beginning!  Sherry is well known in Northern California, and this performance of Oh My Goddess was presented at  Fort Bragg Town Hall, for the Ocean Protection Coalition Save The Whales Event in May of 2010.  Enjoy!

I have become converted and Born Again, and as such need to share  the Gospel of  Reverend Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping to this post..........an evil empire of  souless robots with vast demonic armies of corporate lobbyists may be taking over the world, but  at least I can take control with the Reverend.............and all my friends get hand knitted scarves for Christmas.

Meet the Anti-Fracking Nuns

I was inspired by this short video about a group of nuns in Kentucky who are fighting to save their land, their "Mother House" against "eminent domain" of the oil companies.  I'd like to see everyone showing their spirit, and spiritual committment to their land, against the corporate "eminent domain" that is destructive everywhere.
