"The Lovers" (1995) |
Unending Love
I seem to have loved you in numberless forms, numberless times...
In life after life, in age after age, forever.
My spellbound heart has made and remade the necklace of songs,
That you take as a gift, wear round your neck in your many forms,
In life after life, in age after age, forever.
Whenever I hear old chronicles of love, it's age old pain,
It's ancient tale of being apart or together.
As I stare on and on into the past, in the end you emerge,
Clad in the light of a pole-star, piercing the darkness of time.
You become an image of what is remembered forever.
You and I have floated here on the stream that brings from the fount.
At the heart of time, love of one for another.
We have played along side millions of lovers,
Shared in the same shy sweetness of meeting,
the distressful tears of farewell,
Old love but in shapes that renew and renew forever.

Thanks Trish! I've perhaps been feeling the world view could use a lot more love and lovers, so posted this beautiful poem.
Thank you! Gail
Hello Beauty
I was glad to hear from you this am.
I read the blogs updated the news and took a deep breath on the recent email from you.
I have literally in ceremony since the 6th of October .
Starting at the Temple of Isis CA and then returning home. Christy Salo attended the "Bear Dance" in Laytonville last night praying for all of us....
The international Prayer Circle on the 13th of every month held space for all of us as well.
I loved Tagore's Love Poem.
Yes these rich days of living in form are quite challenging for so many of us.. yet we are getting so much on the inner.
I hope that you will collect these writings from your blog and put them into print... This would be yet another great book worth purchasing... I being one of them to scrape and save for such a wonderful book.
I look to my right and there she is with eyes closed... White Tara...with Amaterasu Looking down from above my head in my warm safe bed this am..
Do You Skype?
Curious.
That would be nice to try?
Love to you...
I cherish the alchemy of your written word..
