Hi Lauren - I showed a longer video of Theo to my Myth & Symbol class the other day.... interesting responses! A few were amazed, some were wondering what the "function" was or why he did it. That led to a short discussion about the nature of art. I asked, what about it just being amazing, does it have to be more? They are so environmentally minded, that they weren't sure.... but they did think it was amazing just the same, aside from the 18-22 year old angst!
I, personally, LOVE the way the creatures move, I'm mesmerized by that!
interesting! funny that they are so concerned with the "purpose" of the art. I love the dedication this man has given to his art, his imaginative relationship to what he creates.
This is my first time i visit here. I found so much entertaining stuff in your blog, especially its discussion, I guess I am not the only one having all the enjoyment here! Keep up the good work
Amazing!
